Born and raised in Alberta and the son of a dedicated hunter and trap line operator, Derek has spent the better part of 23 years pursuing every opportunity to be in the back country hunting, trapping, fishing and exploring the untouched wilderness throughout Alberta. It was Derek’s passion for the outdoors that led him to use his hunting skills for more than recreation and went on to bring together Alberta Wild Outfitters.
